My PC Get Hanged After Some Time | How To Fix It [Solved]

My computer get hanged Every time and it has become slow, though I have loads of work here so too many pages are open at a time.Sometimes it automatically shuts down. I don't have very vast knowledge of computers, so please provide simple answer, so that I can understand the remedy. I have antivirus loaded, so virus may not be any problem. What To Do..



Solution

The problem may be due to over heating of processor . so if you know how to remove your processor remove it and apply thermal paste and then fix it and check whether your processor fan is running properly . clean the dusts on the mother board . even it restarts then check your power supply if required change the power supply because faulty power supply could be the problem sometimes.

Your computer may get hang because of many factors:

1)Your computer may be infected with a virus.

2)Your RAM(Random Access Memory) size may be very less for the operating system.If you are using vista then ,you should have at least 1GB RAM for the computer to run properly.

3)If you are using your computer for using softwares which require high graphical processing then you should increase your RAM capacity.

4)Optimize your computer for best performance.You can do this by:
Go to Control Panel.
Double click on System.
Click on the tab "advanced".
Click settings button under "performance".
Now change the settings as you want.

5)Do de-fragmentation regularly(at least once in a month)
You can do this by :
Go to All programs-Accessories-system tools-Disk Defragmentation.
Select the disk and click on "Defragment"

6)Install a good anti virus program and remove all the viruses.
